5 Ideas for a Delicious and Low-Carb Christmas Dinner

Healthy Lifestyle 15.12.2018

Holidays are approaching and the question of what to put on the table is probably more and more harassing. Most families traditionally prepare the same dishes every year, but if you think that Christmas and New Year are not enough reason to break the regime, perhaps you will benefit from the ideas we are ready to give you.

  • Meat is always a good choice for Christmas and New Year's Eve. However, if you have served pork chops so far (incompatible with your diet if you have a low carbohydrate diet), you should consider an alternative. Replace steak with pork fillet or even counterfeit. Prepare it in a low-heat oven to avoid drying the meat.
  • On most Christmas trades, the Russian salad was also present. Considering its main ingredients, namely potatoes and mayonnaise, we do not need to go into details about how much fat and carbohydrates are contained in 100 grams. A better choice would be the Milk Salad with Skimmed Milk. If you want it to be more winter, you can prepare it with pickles and a few walnuts for Splendour!
  • We can't go without cabbage salsa at Christmas, so we definitely do not recommend turning them off the menu. But there is a way to be a bit "light". Instead of a minced mix, you could prepare them with pure veal mince. If you are an experimentalist, you can add brown rice instead of white, pre-soaked for a few hours. After 40 days fasting has to be a dime!
  • Usually, Christmas and New Year's holidays are the time of the year when most hosts present themselves as graduates of Le Cordon Bleu. That is why cakes, small sweets, cakes and all other calories are rotating. Try something different: replace the heavy "Garash" cake with a cake-chocolate taste cake. Raw energy bars or candy are also good choices if you decide to take a few extra pounds (or at least avoid uploading them).
  • Christmas and New Years, typically as a holiday, involve a lot of drinking. We recommend that you do not reach the prepared juices and carbonated beverages. Alcohol, mixed with sugar, causes a headache. :) The best diluent for alcohol, in this case, is water. If you are too "non-frightening" this combination, take time and boil the juice itself. Prepare it from apples or pears for example.

With our little tricks, you will not change the Christmas and New Year's Eve tables so your guests wonder what holiday you are celebrating.

But you can save some fat and carbohydrates, which will make your body feel better and your conscience (if you are struggling with a diet). On the other hand, this is only a few days against the background of all 365 of the year. It is not fatal and relaxes. We are ready to help you achieve the dream figure!
