9 Ideas How to Stay Fit during the Holidays

Are you 90% of the people who train and leave exercise in the background during the holidays? But do you want to stay in shape? Well, we have prepared a few tips to help you to avoid surprises after big overeating:

  • Use every possible free minute to do some exercise. Your family decided it was time for a quick nap? Grab the sneakers and make a quick tour of the block or make a few short squat and abdominal series.
  • If you intend to visit your relatives, bring with you fitness bands and other small items to use for your short training "between the masses".
  • If you think you'll have more time to train, it would be a good idea to get online training in advance. For example, a short part of Healthy Lifestyle's fitness programs
  • Walk as much as possible - go to the mall, take the stairs instead of using a lift, take your dog for a walk - yours or your neighbour's
  • If there are kids around you ... even better! Discover the child again and play a hunter, hide and what else you think!
  • Help with homework - first, you will become their favourite relative or friend, secondly, you will burn calories.
  • If you are expected to meet a lot of people, leave all the dishes in the kitchen at a place that is located low. So each time you have to squat to get another tray!
  • Challenge someone - facial, abdominal, bruise or whatever - a turn for the rest and a workout for you!
  • If you do not have the equipment, you can always take a bottle of wine ... or, water, and train with it. Better than nothing!

And do not forget - holidays are time for family, cosiness and tranquillity.
